Foreign investor participation in Indian debt markets continues to remain cautious despite the recent rise in domestic bond yields, with the benchmark 10-year government bond yield climbing to 7.1435%, its highest level since May 8, 2024. So far since Mar 2026, FPI have sold INR 91.99Bln worth of debt, and several macro and market-related factors continue to constrain the attractiveness of Indian fixed income assets from a global investor perspective.
